Today, I’m honored and proud to accept the endorsement of the men and women of:
- Arizona Conference of Police and Sheriffs
- Chandler Police Lt’s and Sgt’s Association
- Maricopa Community College Police Association
- Maricopa County Probation Association
- Arizona Correctional Peace Officers Association
- Maricopa County Deputies Association
To be supported by front-line law enforcement professionals as a law enforcement executive is one of the highest compliments you can receive professionally.
It is a privilege to be recognized by those who are sworn to protect and serve the citizens of Maricopa County as the one who’ll bring effective leadership back to the Sheriff’s Office.
They are counting on me to restore professionalism to the management level of this office and to support their efforts as professional crime fighters and guardians of the public’s safety.
They love their jobs and have dedicated their lives to making you safe because they love our country and the values of truth and justice it represents.
These men and women are examples of what true service to our communities really means by being forced to work in unfavorable working conditions with limited resources.
It is significant for the residents of Maricopa County to know that collectively these 8,000 law enforcement professionals understand that there is a problem
and I am the solution.
This endorsement represents their desire for you to know that change is necessary
and I am that change.
Taxpayer money is being wasted,
working conditions have deteriorated,
resources are lacking,
employees and citizens live in fear,
Because the current system is being manipulated for self-interest
and self promotion.
It’s not Joe’s Law as he has recently described,
it’s the American Law that we are sworn to uphold and utilize to protect our citizens.
As your sheriff, I will promise each of you that positive change will occur and
I’ll get the job done right while we
preserve the public’s safety and freedoms.
