Dan Saban Announces His Campaign Kick-Off in Downtown Phoenix
January 19th event will highlight his plans to fix the Sheriff’s Office and showcase Bi-partisan support from coalition for truth and justice in public safety
(PHOENIX) January 18, 2007: Dan Saban, Democratic Candidate for Maricopa County Sheriff will kick-off his campaign at the Wyndham Hotel, 100 N. 1st Street, in downtown Phoenix on Saturday, January 19th at 11:00AM. This major campaign event will highlight Saban’s plans to restore trust, leadership and effective management to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. The event will feature Saban’s diverse support from community leaders who make up the coalition for truth and justice in public safety.
Saban who is taking his Truth & Justice Tour around the Valley makes a stop in Phoenix to outline his professional approach to ending a Sheriff’s Administration that abuses its privilege of office for personal gain and isn’t accountable to the people for its incompetence and over-spending on non-essential projects disguised as mission critical.
Featured at the event will be several prominent guest speakers from different backgrounds, opinions and party affiliations. However, they all agree that Dan Saban is the best choice for Sheriff because he will prioritize public safety issues based on the need to keep citizens safe. Examples of Saban’s priorities will be to execute the 40,000 outstanding felony warrants and re-open the satellite jails.
Saban stated, “We must end the distracting celebrity of make-believe law enforcement tactics. People are getting hurt, freedoms are being denied and tax money is being wasted. I will bring organizational change and get the job done right.”
The coalition stands for a public safety professional with a proven track record of capable leadership and effective policing strategies.
